This week's #RoleModelMonday is Daisy-May Demetre, a seven year old double amputee model who is inspiring the social media community with her confidence, braveness and dedication to pursuing her dreams. When Daisy-May Demetre was born, she was diagnosed with a birth defect called fibular hemimelia. When Daisy was still a baby, her parents decided to have both of her legs amputated below the knee, as she was unable to balance or move properly. She eventually was fitted for prosthetics, that allowed her to walk, jump and run. After much dedication to regaining mobility, Daisy decided nothing would hold her back and took on the world of modeling. She has since walked in runway shows and has been featured in multiple campaigns. Thank you for being such a shining light!
