Located north-west of Madagascar, 45 kilometers (30 miles) from Nosy Be. Nosy Iranja is the breeding place for two species of turtles, green and hawksbill.
On the island, there is a lighthouse designed by Gustav Eiffel and a small fishing village surrounded by the vegetation and the ocean.
