But there is a wider purpose to his work. ‘It says to kids all over the world, it’s possible.’ Kids who see themselves in Virgil Abloh. ‘It’s going to rewire a kid’s brain. Maybe they’re in the street corner and they’re in an impoverished community and they think, I’m going to go to school because I love fashion. Shit that guy’s there?
