Photo by @FransLanting This is one of the more miraculous creatures I’ve worked with. It’s a tiny primate called tarsier found only in the jungles of South East Asia. I photographed this one in northern Borneo. Tarsiers use their oversize eyes to hunt for insects in the dark understory of the rain forest. With their giant eyes, they seem to live in a constant state of sensory overkill, wearing expressions that seem to vacillate between outrage and surprise.
