The problem with most pocket knives is the pocket part. Nobody wants the unsightly bulge that comes with a three- to five-inch blade. But carrying a knife on your person is unbelievably useful—for FedEx boxes and the infernal plastic packaging that always sends you scrambling for scissors. What you need is a small one that you keep in your fifth pocket, smaller than three inches, that you can make a part of your "everyday carry": wallet, hanky, money, your sense of self-reliance, and now your little knife.
