Hours earlier she helped carry in some of the 2,000 - 2,500lbs of pantry staples and fresh produce arriving on delivery trucks to be sorted and stocked. Then she helped people who come once a week to fill a wagon with fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods and raw materials for making meals. “I have been coming to the food pantry for 8 years. I love to be here. I remember the first time I started helping, I was nervous because it was new. But I learned many things, and now the people here are like family.
