In honor of our I HeART Summer joint ticket promotion, we're taking a trip to the Barnes Foundation today. Did you know that the Barnes is home to the world’s largest collection of works by Pierre-Auguste #Renoir? With 181 Renoirs at the @barnesfoundation and 52 in the @フィラデルフィア美術館 collection, you can see the full scope of this amazing artist in one city.

We’re here in Room 2 of the Barnes collection gazing at “Nude with Castanets." The woman depicted here is Andrée Heuschling, Renoir's last model and the first wife of his son, filmmaker, Jean Renoir. Andrée eventually took the stage name Catherine Hessling and starred in many of Jean’s films like “Charleston Parade,” featuring the model turned actress dancing wildly.
