Forecasters predict a 100 percent chance of favorable weather for our satellite to launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base on California's Pacific coast aboard a United Launch Alliance (@ULAlaunch) Delta II rocket.
This mission will provide critical observations of Earth’s ice sheets, glaciers and sea ice, which will help scientists better understand how these changes at the poles will affect people around the world.
