With yesterday’s 3-0 win over Tunisia, we completed the 1st round of World Championships by winning each of our 5 matches, finishing 1st in our pool.

By taking 1st in our pool, we qualified for the 2nd round, Sofia, Bulgaria. Each of the top 4 teams in their respective pools advanced and keeps their points from the 1st round which will be accumulated after the completion of the four, 4 team pools.

To move on to the final stage, we have to finish our pool in 1st place or be one of the top two 2nd place teams (accumulated points from the 1st & 2nd rounds) out of the 4 pools.
After the 1st round, these are the top 10 teams:

3rd. USA ??- 13 points.
4th. Serbia ??- 11 points.
5th. Brazil ??- 11 points.

Our first game for the 2nd round is on Friday the 21st and we will play on the 22nd and the 23rd with the goal of advancing to the Final 6 back in Italy!
