Lions spend the vast majority of their days asleep in the shade but when they are active they are phenomenal to see. The Tsaro Pride have long adapted to their watery environment and become daytime hunters, focusing their attention on the large herds of buffalo that pass through Duba Plains, and more recently, the swamp adapted red lechwe whose population is growing healthily. It is these antelope that have caught the attention of the lions. Despite the open plains and the deep water channels, these big cats are well used to hunting in these difficult conditions and their great condition is a definite testament to their abilities. #ThisIsMyTrophy #bigcats #causeanuproar #OkavangoLions #TsaroPride
