The mis-en-scene for @トム・ブラウン was looked over by appropriately attired Lifeguards. For another high-concept outing to the far-reaches of theatricality, Thom took us to a seaside boardwalk. Bathing huts, a pastel fabric palm tree and conch shells were complemented by the sound of waves lapping against the bank. The clothes were a fantastical delight, ebbing and flowing like the tide between the disquieting and dreamy. There was salt in the water at Thom’s seaside stopover. Proportions were extended, detailing finely-tuned, taking a simple refrain and turning it into a beachside symphony.
