I often get asked by folks who want to help but who don’t have the financial means to do so to give them some ideas on what they can do. And I always say, give of your voice; learn and spread the word to friends and family and colleagues and your social networks. And I can sense that oftentimes folks don’t feel like that’s enough or that their voice can’t make a difference. But this headline highlights how important and vital giving of your voice is. This is what happens when not enough is said by not enough people. I truly believe that the church is attempting to do some good but donating money to a government that is suspected of aiding genocide while that genocide is ongoing is...stunning. The only thing I can think is that not enough people in the church have heard the truth of what’s been happening to the #Rohingya. So please, give of your voice. Stand up for what is right. Lives depend on it.
