Unlike many artists, who are generally interested above all in themselves, Paolo Roversi has an amazing and very personal collection of other people’s works hanging in his house but the photos he most likes to show are of his family, so it’s therefore no surprise that, among the ‘remarkable men’ that Roversi brought together for this special project, there are included two of his sons.
“It was a sort of adventure. I was drawn to the idea of a story of encounters. Instead of hanging a bunch of recognizable figures, I thought that a more intimate approach might be interesting, something that brought together people who are important to me and people I’d met for the first time who for one reason or other struck me. It’s like life: there are people you’ve known for 30 years and others you met the day before, and you never know who might be more important to you.” Read the interview with #PaoloRoversi by @chiaranonino in our new issue.
