Pictured here is The Last Honey Hunter himself, Mauli Dhan, on one of his final honey harvests in remote eastern Nepal. Witnessing him climb on hand woven bamboo ropes while being swarmed by hundreds of thousands of bees, to continue the tradition of gathering hallucinogenic honey was nothing short of magical. ~ Check out @renan_ozturk for more on this story of cultural travel
