Glad I went to the event to get to know District Attorney #FaithJohnson yes she’s a Republican and I was interested in learning more about her. I’d heard good things about her and her fight for EQUAL JUSTICE. She’s had her life threatened over her beliefs - but let me tell you why. As a black, female republican- she is the one that brought charges against the police officer #AmberGuyger who shot a black man #BothamJean in his own home and claimed she accidentally went into the wrong apartment. She’s also the first DA to turn a Conviction on a cop for wrongful murder. These police killings of unarmed black folks are a major concern for me and it’s rare they eve get charged so I’m impressed that she’s gone against the grain when it comes to this.
