Have you ever wanted to touch an art installation? At Argentine artist Tomás Saraceno’s show in Paris, you can do just that. While observing “Algor(h)i(y)thms,” participants are invited to play with the work by gently plucking or sliding their fingers up and down the strings. Each string resonates at a different frequency. Some of them are audible while others are beyond the range of human hearing. Visitors are also invited to lie on the floor, where those vibrations are amplified so they can be felt. The work is part of “On Air”, a show that is the latest iteration of @palaisdetokyo’s biannual series in which an artist is given free rein of #France’s largest exhibition space for contemporary art. @djoolee took this photo of @studiotomassaraceno working on his installation with his team in #Paris.
