Just in time for Halloween: Our @NASAHubble Space Telescope captured an eerie figure among the stars, comprised of long, flowing veils of gas and dust.
Is it a ghost? Not exactly: it’s a nebula glowing with ultraviolet radiation from a nearby, blue-giant star. Because of its proximity to the constellation Cassiopeia the Queen, our scientists have dubbed it “the Ghost of Cassiopeia.” Credit: NASA, ESA and STScI; Acknowledgment: H.
