Today I bought my first house! You know when you’re growing up & you can’t help but envision certain scenarios in your future? How life will be when you are a certain age or what things will ‘look like’ during particular milestones in your future life? Well when I think about it...I guess I always kinda envisioned me buying my first home with my husband, to start a family in. I don’t know why...my parents never raised me to chase after a cookie cutter lifestyle. They always encouraged me to go after my goals & hearts disires whatever that order may be. Maybe it’s society that made me envision it that way.

Well, this is actually so much better than that scenario. I did this on my own. A great house, my down payment, no co-sign, just me. And I’m freakin proud of myself for that! And I’m not afraid to say that out loud. Instead of being disappointed that I am not where I ‘thought’ I would be at this year of my life...I realize I’m actually so much further along than I ever was able to dream of at that early age! Life isn’t in a certain order. We don’t control what comes first & what follows. That is for God to do. He knew all of this way before I ever did. So today...I am proud of myself. Gonna sit here in this empty house a little bit longer & allow myself to stop...and really take it all in. I’m exactly where He wants me to be. And I am thrilled about that. He is good!
