In Myanmar our wildlife veterinarians are working with partners to protect bat and human health. They are collecting biological samples from bats to test for diseases that could possibly jump to humans.
If they learn more about the types of viruses bats carry, that data can be used to advise humans how to avoid disturbing bat habitats and be safe around them. #BatWeek
