Meet @troublemakerz_agency, a Tbilisi-based modeling agency founded for skaters, by skaters—although, technically, it was started this past summer by a figure close to the group: director, designer, and photographer Tamuna Karumidze. She had grown close to the community after filming When the Earth Seems to Be Light, a documentary about a tight-knit clan of Georgian teen skaters, and her friends had been receiving requests to model directly, typically without payment. Troublemakerz was a way to ensure that they would receive compensation. “People want things for free and at some point, everyone was tired of this,” she says.
