Update on Woolsey the fire cat.... after 7 days in fire, no water, eyes sealed shut with ash and puss, burns to his little paws and ears, he is under 24 hour watch. His kidney levels are very very high, secondary to extremes dehydration. They upped his fluids early this morning. He did give a few head butts and enjoyed some affection. We are cautiously optimistic about this little guy. I’m so thankful that I got directed to him by whatever higher power. He was hard to spot and yet.... here he is. He would not of survived even hours so feeling blessed right now for this adorable abandoned guy. Thank you so much to my animal guru @malibuvet whom I call for everything because she’s simply the best and she also called Dr Frank Levac and his team at Wilshire Animal Hospital who rushed to help us. Thank you @animalhopeandwellness and @vadimdardagani who flexed his muscles with the crate all day ?. I’ll keep you all posted on Woolsey and the other animals we have been attending to. #malibustrong #californiastrong #woolseythefirecat
