The #echidna is one of #Australia's many unusual looking native animals. It has a prickly coat like a hedgehog or porcupine – so don’t try to pick one up! Echidnas can be found throughout most of Australia, but are not easily spotted in the wild because of their quiet, reclusive nature. So your best chance to see one is to visit a zoo or #wildlife park.
