Hey gang, got a poorly child off school today so house bound but A great excuse to do some reading ? just finished this important and brilliant book ‘With The End In Mind’ by Dr Kathryn Mannix She has 30 years experience as a palliative care consultant and her stories of her patients who whilst dying embrace living Talking about death is one of the biggest taboos in our society, something some are fearful of which means we are unprepared. She says people don’t know what to expect and take cues from tv etc which sensationalise & trivialise death. I thankfully was there when my Nan and grandad died and there was definitely a pattern, one which Kathryn describes. It’s a heartwarming, uplifting & fascinating read ❤️??
