Wonderful morning tea session @kaneju_farm_omotesando the first tokyo-outpost of this Shizuoka tea farm that specializes in Sencha. Unlike Chinese tea, Japanese tea is brewed at a much lower degree to release the flavors gradually. I didn’t opt for the signature Sencha but this Yuzu Sencha which had pleasant citrusy bursts due to the generous amount of dried Yuzu mixed with the tea leaves. Each tea order is brewed twice (total 5 cups) and served with beautiful wagashi made in-house by the pretty and knowledgeable tea professional.
Overall I prefer this to Tokyo senchado for the Sencha tea tasting experience
