I moved to New York 20 years ago, with a vision, with my “American Dream.” I am grateful to have a beautiful New York family that has manifested this dream, a dream of a world that is full of empowered women and minorities, a world that is Stronger In Colour.
I am thankful for my New York and fashion industry family, for enabling me the platform to push boundaries, challenge preconceived notions about our society, and for supporting my mission to create a more equitable, more representative future.
Thank you to all of you talented people out there, who work at our brand day in and day out, the models who represent our ideals on the runway, in photos and in their own lives, the editors who give me the space to speak freely, to our retail partners whose belief and support has manifested this dream into a reality, to the stylists and celebrated souls in the media whose support has enabled us to have this platform, friends and supporters from the digital world who influence all of us positively, our behind the scenes teams who work so vigorously to make our dreams a reality through styling, casting, hair and makeup, our partner employees in our ateliers who design our clothes with love and soul, to my New York friends who’ve become my family- your love & acceptance gives me strength- and to our followers, who learn, share and promote our message and brand ethos.
