(English below) 東京都は年間およそ5.5万台もの放置自転車があります。見かける放置自転車はまだまだ使える自転車ばかり。デザイナーとコラボして放置されて廃棄する自転車を引き取らせてもらい、古くなった部品を使ってソーシャライジング自転車をつくりました。
旧式の自転車に命を吹込む作業は最近の自転車のように容易作業ではなく専門的な工具や部品そして知識と技術を要します。
部品一つ一つの役割やその工程の意味がわかり本当のモノづくりを知る。ビンテージのおしゃれさと新しさを兼ね備えたソーシャライジング自転車。

There are approximately 55,000 abandoned bicycles found in Tokyo every year. We realized that those abandoned bicycles still work fine so we decided to collect and put reusable parts together and turned them into these modern bicycles (which we call “socializing bicycles") with a vintage touch.
Different from how other mass-produced bicycles are made, these bicycles require high skills, knowledge and a great attention to details. Available for rental to our hotel guests.
