You can join Magnum's @markosian at the New School University Center in New York on December 4, where she will be discussing her new series 'Santa Barbara', which reconstructs her family's journey from Russia to America, inspired by the 1980s soap opera of the same name.

The panel discussion coincides with the forthcoming 'Family' issue of @aperturefnd magazine, which features a portfolio of work from @markosian's new series, and will consider how artists and photographers have chronicled their relationships to their families and communities. @markosian will be speaking alongside Justine Kurland and Zun Lee, in a conversation moderated by Lois Braverman.
