For the record: this is one of the most important, complicated and thoughtful films made in many a year (which probably explains why it has been nominated for every single one of the awards that bother with, ya know, those kinds of things and was overlooked by an award that, ahem, doesn’t) with across-the-board sublime performances from a brilliant cast. The always masterful @ethanhawke is on a whole different level of incredible and there’s this actress in it who is always phenomenal and brave and honest and smart. She’s really special.
