The man who drove a car into a crowd protesting a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017 was convicted Friday of first-degree murder and nine other charges. A jury found the 21-year-old guilty in the killing of Heather Heyer, who was among the counterprotesters. He faces a possible life sentence.
