I’ve found an unexpected beauty in waking up to a cold cabin, laying under all the warm blankets watching my breath in the air, I suppose it feels honest. I’m not certain I could do it forever. The idea of turning on a gas furnace is easy to dream about, but today it feels good to be humbled by a wood stove. We’ll keep chopping wood and make a roaring fire every morning ✨
