Hi, my name is Simon Lister @scilista and I’m so excited to share with you the stories behind the photos I captured on my recent trip to Bangladesh with #UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador @オーランド・ブルーム. We travelled to Bangladesh for ‘Tales by Light’, a documentary series on Netflix, telling the stories of photographers around the world. During the visit we met children living and working in slums in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and UNICEF’s work to tackle the issue of child labour. In this photo Orlando Bloom is with Dulaly. She works in dangerous conditions, collecting rubbish for recycling from the railway tracks at Dhaka’s old train station. Her dream is to become a doctor. Dulaly attends a UNICEF-supported school project where children get a second chance learn and to catch up on the classes they’ve missed out on. (1/4 #InstagramTakeover) © UNICEF / Lister
