Alright, I’m ready to start sharing photos again! I’ve been away quite a bit over the previous month. Nowhere as exciting and photo worthy as East Africa though, where the wildlife and landscapes are unparalleled. I’ve barely had time to sit and look at the thousands of images I brought back, but this one jumped out immediately. We were on the wide open plains of Kenya’s Masai Mara as an evening storm was approaching, bringing with it some much needed rain. Drought is a common term in Africa’s savannah regions, and these elephants were looking for any nutrients they could in the dried up grass. At least some hope for some fresh greens was within view.
