Happy Winter Solstice. I love this turn of the season. Things slow and roots strengthen beneath the surface. The harsh elements cleanse the soil in preparation for a bountiful spring ahead. The surface looks barren but it is the old and dead things that are turning into compost for a richer ground. And somewhere in that, the magical mystery of snow covers the earth in a quiet exquisite symphony. May the new season bring peace, restoration, rejuvenation, health, warmth and the joy of miracles and wonder.
