'Our first glimpse of #Uluru, perhaps the most famous sight in all of Oceania... Travel writer Bill Bryson described Uluru as 'strangely familiar', and we felt the same way. Here was the rock we had seen in movies, postcards and documentaries, a rock that symbolised past conflict and enduring pain, a rock held sacred by #Australia’s indigenous people.
