I’m taking a brief hiatus from my holiday break to let you know about the show on channel 4 tonight! Earlier this year myself, Elaine lauren and Jackie @medednutrition @nutritilty @jgwdietetics plus the guys from @nutritank_official met @ジェイミー・オリヴァー and @jimmysfarm for their show when they featured @culinarymedicineuk ! They met the whole bunch of medical students doing culinary medicine at Bristol university which were the FIRST cohort of medical students in the country learning HOW TO COOK as well as NUTRITIONAL MEDICINE theory as part of their medical education.
It’s great that Jamie is bringing attention to the lack of nutritional knowledge amongst medics as well as the solution which is teaching the future generations of doctors how to talk about food in medicine confidently. @culinarymedicineuk is a non profit collaborative organisation between chefs, dieticians and doctors where we elevate discussions around food and lifestyle for both medical students and qualified health professionals.
