I’ve been traveling since I was born and was lucky enough to circle the globe six times before I was nine years old. As a teenager, I fell into photography as naturally as a fish to water. I’ve been shooting for over forty years and it still excites me. But what I really love is teaching - sharing that passion with others, guiding you to get photos that shine with love and light. Come join me in beautiful, old-world Italy for my special Umbria/Tuscany Photo Workshop May 8 - 17, 2019, where we spend quality time with fishermen, shepherds, wine makers, vintage car collectors, and all sorts of warm, convivial Italians. These locals have become dear friends. I’ll show you what it’s like to be on assignment for National Geographic Traveler - except that I have done the research ahead of time, so that we can just go to the best, most photogenic and welcoming places. This carefully planned, well-organized photo workshop is not a “tour,” so that means real learning with group projections, private critiques and plenty of passionate on-location coaching. Experiences allow guests to spread out and photograph with space and freedom. There’s no competition and we enjoy a friendly ambiance of camaraderie.
