We went to Katsuō-ji. The word "katsu" in the temple's name refers to "winning", and the temple is famous for it's collection of kachi ("winning") Daruma. They are said to fulfill one's desire to "win" in business, sports, art, exams, sickness, etc. So people buy daruma dolls in hopes of obtaining "winner's luck". If the wish is fulfilled, the daruma is often returned to the temple and left somewhere on the grounds. In short, this temple and its daruma help you WIN! KATSU!
久々の勝尾寺。入り口でいただいた笹に“勝ちダルマ・福袋・幸運を呼ぶうちでのこづち・幸運よコイ！で鯉の飾り”を購入し巫女さんに付けてもらいましたが...重みで笹がしなる、しなる?ちょっと欲深かったかしら？?
