This morning I read a beautiful but heartbreaking piece in the @ニューヨーク・タイムズ about tree snails in Hawaii. They’re quickly becoming extinct and I ended up spending 30 minutes online looking at photos of their shells. It’s cliche, but true, that nature is the greatest designer. I’ve rarely seen something as beautiful as so many of the creatures sliding, walking, swimming and flying around the world. In my shell research I stumbled on these gorgeous shell tiles that @cristinacelestino posted- they are so stunning and I immediately imagined them dressing up a pool shed or some sort of beachy outdoor space. Nature as an inspiration point is always a great idea ♥️ ?
