When I was young and before I lost my ability to wear clothes, I had a favourite t-shirt. It read “Wherever the fear may be, look it in the eyes” This is how I live life and it will change yours.
What are your fears? Most of them are irrational, but feel very real to you. If you continue to avoid them they will haunt you forever. You can not go around them. To overcome fear, you must go through it. When it threatens you with control and pain you must not step away but step towards it. Stare that fear down, look it right between the eyes and it will cower and retreat and you will no longer be a prisoner to your own mind.
Wherever the fear may be, look it in the eyes!
