Back in Ohio for a (very cold) hot minute. A week ago, we found out that a very dear friend passed, after a years long battle with cancer. This is the first loss that Mayhem has been able to fully understand and she is, quite honestly, devastated. As we packed for the trip, it never occurred to us that there might still be snow on the ground following last weekend’s weather. And she couldn’t have been more excited to see plenty of the white stuff on our arrival. A mad dash to Target ensued, where we found literally ONE pair of snow bibs left - and they happened to be her size ?? In the shoe section we found exactly TWO pair of snow boots left - both were her size ?? After a week of sadness, tears, and a whole lotta “why?”s, we were reminded that the universe does still conspire (with Target, apparently) to bring us joy and happiness, especially when we need it most ❤️
