Photo by @クリス・バーカード 11 percent of Iceland's landscape is covered by glaciers. As the season changes from winter to summer, these magnificent wonders of nature begin to melt and pour into the sea. Over thousands of years these rivers are responsible for sculpting the valleys and mountain ridges that make up Iceland today. Over the last 6 years I’ve been shooting, compiling & editing down my images to create a portfolio that illustrates a clear picture of Iceland’s complex river systems. Every trip I make amazes me how vast these rivers are. They are earth’s way of water painting on the canvas of the sea.
