Today is World Hijab Day and coincidentally also the start of Black History Month. Let’s strive to eradicate the racism that exists within our communities (esp in the Muslim community) and eliminate the hate in our hearts. Here’s to forever being confident in our own skin, loving ourselves the way God made us, and rejecting any ounce of pride we may have based around the social construct of race.
