Hokkaido is an incredible island, even the minus degree weather can't damped the warmth of their hospitality. From the food, onsen, culture, bars, shopping and people.
You would have never guessed there was such a devastating earthquake just recently.

The resilience of the people of Japan is awe-worthy. The culture of 'Kaizen' is very apparent. Every day being even just slightly better than yesterday.

No matter what the world throws at you, you continue, one-step at a time to build, to heal and grow.

May we all take a page from their book. That it is possible to overcome obstacles no matter how painful and monstrous they seem.
