Here’s a brilliant photo by @cris_shots showing two objects made in Cyprus over 2,000 years ago.

These small sculptures depict mythical hero Herakles on the left, and a female worshipper on the right. Modestly sized statues like this may have been placed in tombs – this tiny pair are both about 20cm tall.
