The snow has come and gone, but the witch-hazels (Hamamelis spp.) don’t seem to mind. That’s because their flowers have adapted to withstand frigid temperatures. You can find a great collection of these winter-blooming wonders throughout the Garden. Shown here are Hamamelis x intermedia cultivars ‘Diane’, ‘Jelena’, ‘Gingerbread’, and ‘Primavera’.
