Throwback to that one time at band camp... I mean the @nypl when we went on a crazy day trip to the Big Apple on a brutally cold day just to attend a @travelers_company event. And yes, it was more than worth it! We managed to hit Bryant Park, Grand Central (just for the ceiling there!), NYPL (obviously), Korea Town, Kinokuniya, Muji, yell at a shady cabbie and talk the price down from the I’m-gonna-rip-the-tourists-off fare and of course the Traveler’s Caravan event. The best part was running into a pal while we were there (I’m looking at you @eejiny!). Impromptu road trips and adventures are among my favorite detours of life. Happy almost weekend everyone!
