Today I am 44. I don’t know how this happened, but I am choosing to be grateful instead of lamenting about my age (which I will do with @メアリー・マコーマック, privately.) I am grateful for the opportunities life has provided me. I am strong, and i am resilient, and i realize at this age, it is my responsibility to use that strength and courage for other people, and not just for myself. To shine a light, be patient, and learn how to apologize. It took me extra time to grow up, but I’d rather be late to the party than to never show up at all. Showing up is everything. srujanikaa 44 is nice. Makes you more intelligent and experienced. You know who to avoid and who not to avoid. Which family member is a bitch or which family to call over a funeral. After 40 you basically figure out life.
