Some people may believe the more pull-ups climbers can accomplish, the better they can climb. In fact there exists no conclusive evidence that pull-ups increase success in climbing. I guess, pull-up related strength plays a basic part in climbing in order to build muscle, but is not the answer to everything. Climbing can't be broken down only by physical strength. It is an all-compassing physical, technical and mental sport. Therefore, different angle of exercises help improve in climbing.
