A photograph is finished when it is printed, there is a thing in all of us, we search, we long for that challenge, a goal that seems impossible, when I started taking photographs of you told me I would spent weeks trying to photograph a grapefruit I would have laughed at you, but when I have something in my mind I have to get it out, this photo took a long time to make, not just the exact fingers that I wanted, thank you @gracevandien but the right camera, lens, film, scan, all of it had to come together to create a look at feel, but the finishing touch was the print. That is when you truly see it for the first time. I do very limited runs of prints, sometimes they will sell out and I only get to see them when they are in someone’s home. This is a 30 by 22.5 inch edition of 3 print. What would you think if you saw this in someone’s house?
