How do I capture these speedy little birds? Well, they are creatures of habit, so by following their movements I learn their favorite perches; I set up and get ready to shoot when they come back to the same spot. It just requires a bit of patience… Photographed in the Coachella Valley at the Sunnylands Center and Gardens sanctuary in Rancho Mirage, California. I believe the beauty of birds can inspire people to care for nature.
